He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Gilliland and Martha Hampton Gilliland. He is survived by: his wife Tamara Franklin Gilliland of Point Cedar; his children, William (Michelle), Winston Anderson (Amanda) of Greenville, Tennessee, Maranda Gilliland (Billy Hanna) of Point Cedar and Amanda Rivas of Point Cedar; and his sisters, Peggy Lambert of Point Cedar and Jamie King (Bobby) of Bonnerdale. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
