Verda Mary Tipton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verda Mary Tipton of Bigelow, Arkansas, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verda Mary Tipton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Christian and Verda Mary; her father Henry Ackerman; her husband Wiley Bill Tipton; her siblings, Rolla, Wayne, Edward Ackerman, Irene Owens and Elaine Tillman; and her children, Joy Lynn Hannah, Randall Tipton and Glenda Smith.
She is survived by: her mother Ella Pauline Ackerman; her children, Roger Tipton (Shirley), Robert Tipton (Janet), Eual Tipton (Shandra) and Nancy Talley (Dale); her siblings, Johnny Ackerman (Tonia), Frances Milliken and Catherine Pettus (Glenn); and her in-laws, Linda Tipton and Jeff Smith. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; countless nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Vollman Cemetery.
