It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma D. Hatfield of Berryville, Arkansas, born in Gorin, Missouri, who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Mathena and Mary Agnes Peterson Mathena; her husband Reverend Elmer M. Hatfield; her son Stahle Michael Hatfield; and her brother Eugene Mathena.
She is survived by: her children, Mark L. Hatfield (Kathy) of Kirksville, MO and Rebecca L. O'Brien (Don) of Shell Knob, MO; her siblings, Max Mathena (Margaret) of Rock Island, IL, Vernon Mathena (Jeannie) of Rutledge, MO, Ray Mathena (Connie) of Ohio and Mary Ruth Potter of Ohio; her sister-in-law Thelma Mathena of Rock Island, IL; and her granddaughters, Patricia D., Melinda K., Merry E. and Michelle L.. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Gorin Cemetery in memory of Mrs. Hatfield.
