With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rosemary Mauney Steely of Berryville, Arkansas, born in Norphlet, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rosemary Mauney left this world on November 28, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Mauney and Anna Mauney (Collins); her siblings, Frank Mauney (Joann), Jerry Mauney, Richard Mauney and Betty June; and her daughters, Ann Davis (James) and Harriet Aiken (Carl).
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Steely; her children, Melanie Rhone (Bobby) of Berryville, Kean Steely (Carolyn) of Shell Knob, MO and Deana Steely of Pea Ridge; her brother James E. Mauney (Susan) of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Anna Guilkey (Jon) of Springdale, Ethan Steely and Rebecca White of Newmarket; her great grandchildren, Luke and Simeon Guilkey of Springdale; her granddaughter Megan Baker (Drew) of Magnolia; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Charlotte, Sadie and Duke; her granddaughter Lori Zelle (Matt) of Conway; her great grandchildren, Nate and Nolan; and her sisters-in-law, Bobbilene Mauney of El Dorado and Sandy Mauney of Memphis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
