He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Tharp and Marilea Tharp (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Maye Evans Tharp; and his children, Thomas Tharp, Andrew Tharp (Christal), Mary-Esther Bizzell (Jonathan) and Rebekah Stoppel (Robert).
