He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Merriman and Sula Merriman (Rice); his wife Phyllis Merriman (Stanphill); his siblings, J. P. Friend, Lawrence Merriman, Otis Merriman, Bill Merriman, Ova Jones, Veta Parrish and Kay Seawright; and his nieces and nephews, Regina Mooney, Annette Merriman, Charles Jones and Jackie Merriman.
He is survived by: his sister Ann Long of Mountain Home, AR; his sons, Lloyd Merriman (Connie) of Berryville, AR and Darrell Merriman (Alicia) of Berryville, AR; his grandchildren, Hunter Merriman (Jaimie) of Bradenton, FL and Shania Merriman of Berryville, AR; his great grandchild Logan Merriman of Bradenton, FL; his stepchildren, Lisa Carlson (Joel) of Witter, AR and David Rowlett of Berryville, AR; and his siblings-in-law, Sammy Seawright of Flippin, AR, Nadine Merriman of Dripping Springs, AR and Irene. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
