It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kay Hammons of Berryville, Arkansas, born in Pryor, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, James Tyer and Edythe Tyer; her birth mother Juanita Irene Tyer Abel; and her siblings, Elaine Musick and Larry Abel.

She is survived by: her husband David Eugene Hammons Sr.; her sister Penney Gann (Curtis); her children, Sandy Robison of Grove, Dana Splichal (Don) of Bentonville and David Hammons Jr. of Cassville; and her grandchildren, Andrew Reiling, Nicole Reiling, Mercedes Warren (Micheal), Garrett Splichal, Alexis Splichal, Travis Hammons (Brittany) and Trevor Hammons (Cassie). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, as well as other family members and many friends.
