Mays and John P. Mayes, Jr.; his siblings, Linda G. Wood, Dorothy Francis, Raymond Mayes and W. C. Mayes; his grandson Lamar Gabel; and his great grandchild Rodd Aaron Griffin, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Tina N. Mays of Pelzer, SC and Paul Mays (Jezreel Mahaffey) of Alpena, AR; and his siblings, Jimmy W. Mays of Shreveport, LA, Alvin L. Mays of Omaha, AR, James Mayes of Marianna, FL, Kenneth Mays of Center, TX, Delores Morris of Liberty, MO and Carolyn Brocato of Quartzsite, AZ.. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
