She was predeceased by: her husband Charles M. Nelson; her son Douglas Blake Nelson; her grandsons, Blake Nelson and Brandon Pinkley; her parents, Jay Hammons and Pearl Hammons; her brothers, Jay Clark Hammons, Jr. and David William Hammons; and her son-in-law Jack French.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry; her daughter-in-law Kathy Nelson of Berryville; her grandchildren, Brent Pinkley of Branson, Bobby Thurman (Christy) of Eureka Springs, Angela Durham (Chip) of Cave Springs and Justin Nelson of Corpus Christi; her great grandchildren, Macey Nelson, Blaine Nelson, Olivia Thurman, Ava Thurman, Carlee, Jordan and Trevor Durham; and her sister-in-law Barbara Baldwin of Casa Grande. She is also survived by numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.
