She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Nichols and Maxine Nichols (Yonkers); her husband Wayne Gardner; her daughter Nancy Davis; her great grandchildren, Tori, Hannah and Evan; and her siblings, Beverly Newport, Delia McGhee and Raymond Nickels.
She is survived by: her children, Monty Tidyman (Mary), Marlene Weathereal and Leonard Tidyman (Cindy); and her close friends, Carolyn, Lola and Connie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
