She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Clifford and Virgina Theresa Wright (Hardy); her husband Frank; and her brother Joe Kuhn. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Jean Reed, Denise Burgess, Roxana Kuhn Pierce, Martha Wallace and John Wright; her children, Edward, Christine and Alan; and her grandchildren, Eddie Tatum, Cyndy Leonara, Matthew Ketchum, Stephanie Ketchum and Damian Tatum. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

“I knew Barbara at Takoma Park Junior High School. She was in the Junior High Orchestra and for a time sat next to me in the First Violin Section. She played very well and I wondered how she could play with such long fingernails. I asked her and she said they didn't bother her and she wasn't about to cut those fingernails. She was very proud that she was from Arkansas and I am happy to see she returned there and had a husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joy (Umberger)”
