She was predeceased by: her husband William Dale Hastings, Sr; her daughter Linda Sue Hastings Land; her parents, Walter Venneberg and Lydia Venneberg; her brothers, Clarence and Jerry Venneberg; and her daughter-in-law Capitola Hastings.

She is survived by: her children, William Hastings, Jr. (Jackie) of Fort Wayne and Kathy Whelchel (Frank) of Rogers; her sister-in-law Josie Venneberg; her niece Lisa Graham (Darryl); her children, Stephen, Stephanie and Serenity; and her grandchildren, Baby Luna, Coco Chanel, Samson and Lilly. She is also survived by Mom had so many friends who were like family to her especially Betty Milczarski, of Rogers, Mom's very best friend in the whole world, who she loved like a sister and by Debbie and Jeff Moreland, with whom Mom shared a precious grandson.
