He is survived by : his wife Carole Vardaman; his children, Lindy Kern (Adam) and Jeff Swindle (Monique); his grandchildren, Alex, Easton, Landon Kern and Myla Swindle; his brother Dale Swindle, Jr. (Mary Anne) of Northwest Arkansas; and his sister-in-law Brenda Mann of Ozark, Arkansas..

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cross Church (2448 S Pinnacle Hills Pkwy, Rogers, AR 72758). A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
