He is survived by: his wife Lucy Garza Nickell; his children, Aaron Nickell, Angel Hobbs (Terry), Annabelle and Guillory; and his siblings, Lonnie B. Nickell (Wanda) and Daphan Drake (Ben). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
