He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Walter and Alta Marie Gibbs (Bond); his former wife Shirley Gibbs; and his son Chuck Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Waltraud "Wallie" Gibbs; his children, David Gibbs (Bonnie) of Bossier City, Louisiana and Melody Cohen (Dennis) of Ottawa, Illinois; his grandchildren, Zack, David, Dustin, Jamie, Derek, Chad, Charlie, Billie Jo and Kimberly; and his daughter-in-law Sheila Gordon. He is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
