He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Ellis and Ruth T. Ellis; his siblings, Jack, Bob, Ginger and Betty; and his stepson Richard A. R. Fargo.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Tyson Ellis; his stepsons, Edward Louis Fargo, Sr. (Tammy Fargo), John Gilbert Fargo, Jr. (Sheri Fargo) and Timothy Andrew Fargo (Marion Fargo); and his stepgrandchildren, Sophia Grace Fargo, Timothy Bradley Fargo, Edward L. Fargo, Jr. and Stephen A. Fargo. He is also survived by four step great grandchildren.
