She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer N. Wilcox and Mildred Grace Wilcox (Orr); her husband Charles Edward Petit, Jr.; and her sister Kathryn Verna Roy. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Parker (Jeffrey) of Bentonville, AR and Geoffrey Petit of Bothell, WA; and her grandchildren, Kathryn, Olivia, Benjamin, Charlotte, Nicholas Parker, Eliana and Halleluya Petit.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the Lafayette City Band or Lafayette Symphony Orchestra.
