John Henry White, III Obituary
John Henry White, III , 68, of Bentonville, AR passed away December 27, 2021 at Northwest Medical Center. He was born May 31, 1953 in Annapolis, MD to John Henry White , Jr. and Doris (Gassner) White.
John served for many years as a Sheriff's Deputy in Shawano , WI and enjoyed the local theater while performing in a number of productions there. He loved nothing more than making people laugh with his humor and his boisterous laugh that will be remembered by so many. He made every place he went a stage... a stage to make people laugh and feel better than they did before he got there. His most famous line everywhere he went was: "Feel free to go home early"... so I guess he followed his own advice and went Home to be with his Lord and Savior.
In his younger years, he worked diligently to become an Eagle Scout and an Order of the Arrow member. He loved hearing about his grandsons' scouting adventures and would reminisce about his own.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nancy White and brother, Phillip White.
John is survived by his two children : Amy Bates and her husband, Mark, of Bentonville, and John White, IV and his wife April of Neenah, WI. His grandchildren: Destini Matthews, John H. White, V, Haliegh Bates, Braeden Bates, Bryce Bates, Brennen Bates, Kaleigh White, Brylee Bates, and Brielle Bates. Sister/Brothers: Joan Schneider, his twin sister, Gary White, James White, and Ronald White.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Bentonvillle on January 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
