He is survived by: his parent Ida Pelts Slay; his wife Mary; his son Joe Carney Slay, Jr. of Bentonville, Arkansas; his sisters, Julia Ann Kesner of Centerton and Linda Lee Bilderback of Springdale, Arkansas; and his grandson Aaron Carney Slay of Claremore. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
