He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Simmons Jr. and Hedwig Mioduszewski Simmons; and his sisters, Patricia Simmons-Stoudemire and Mary Anne Simmons-Harris. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Simmons; his children, Sean Simmons (Kristine), Patrick Simmons (Laura), Kathleen Simmons and Karen Simmons; his siblings, Tom Simmons (Glenda), Susan Simmons and Loretta Murillo (Manuel); and his grandsons, Liam and Dylan Simmons. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (232 Passion Play Rd, Eureka Springs, AR 72632).
