He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Davis and Mae Davis (Brown); his daughter Nancy Ann Davis (Adkins); and his former wife Helen Davis (Valentine). He is survived by: his wife Rannie Davis; his children, Dennis Lloyd Davis (Trisha) of Bella Vista, Jennifer Lynn McNamara (Bill) of La Russell, Debra Kay McNamara (Steve) of Joplin and Christopher James Davis (Hope) of Decatur, Mississippi; and his stepson Clayton Paul Bounds of Bentonville, Arkansas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, three step grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
