He was predeceased by: his mothers, Audrey Haggard and Bessie Haggard (Willis); and his siblings, Virgil, Clifford, Lee Haggard, Alberta Smith and Esther Gailey.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Haggard (Simpson); his children, Jeff Haggard (Linda) of Bella Vista, David Ward of Bentonville, Rick Ward of Rogers, Dana Newman (Rusty) of Bentonville and Julie Ellis of Georgia; and his sisters, Betty Rakes, Liz Smith, Lavonne Patton, Joyce Couch and Gerry Crawford. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
