With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenda Anne Bates Whittington of Bentonville, Arkansas, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on May 9, 2022 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Bates and Velma Harris Bates; her husband Gene "Whitt" Whittington; and her son Darryl Whittington. She is survived by: her children, Duane Whittington of Springfield, Missouri, Russell Whittington (Lisa) of Zachary and Rebecca Ferry (Jim) of Bentonville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and numerous other family members.
