He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bob Grainger and Norma Jean Grainger of Chilhowee, Missouri; his wife Donna; his children, Wade Grainger of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Nathan Grainger of Weston, Missouri, Jim Stokes of Woodbridge, Virginia and Ashleigh Stokes of Mission, Kansas; and his sister Pamela Grainger Tilson (Bob) of Ashburn, Virginia. He was also cherished by two grandchildren; two nephews; and four nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Gene Grainger Memorial Scholarship of Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Arkansas.
