He is survived by: his children, Edward Davis (Virginia) of Auburn, AL, Myra Davis of Bentonville, AR and Carrie Wells (Damian); his siblings, Charles Davis of New Jersey, Laurence Davis of New Jersey and Margaret Strumpler of Waverly, GA.; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Davis, Alexander Wells and Christeana Wells.
