With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lawrence Whiteside in Bentonville, Arkansas, born in Brinkley, Arkansas, who passed away on June 22, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mack and Edna Geraldine Parrish Whiteside; and his brother Mack Edward Whiteside. He is survived by: his son Walter Mack Whiteside (Kaleigh); his granddaughter Zoey of Pea Ridge; and his siblings, Sharon Henry of Collinsville, OK, Doreatha Wiggins and Jerry Whiteside of Brinkley, Arkansas.. He is also survived by his son, daughter in law and granddaughter, his family members.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Youth Program at Colonial Baptist Church.

“David was a co-worker during our years together at J.B. Hunt. I considered him one of the most ethical, cheerful, and competent people I worked with over the past 32 years. His knowledge of the industry was incredible. David's retirement party on the 4th floor was well attended and it was obvious that he had many friends within the organization. Please accept my thoughts and prayers to your entire family. David was a wonderful man and will certainly be missed by all.”
