He was predeceased by: his mother Beverly Maihofer. He is survived by: his father David Maihofer Sr.; his wife Linda Maihofer; his children, Ashley Maihofer, Nick Maihofer, Kyle Maihofer and Chris Wamser; his siblings, Scott Maihofer, Todd Maihofer and Jennifer Maihofer; and his pet Maverick. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren.
