He was predeceased by: his mother Lena "Irene" Jones (Collins); his brother Dennis Lee Jones; and his grandparents, Obe, Daisy Collins, Chauncey and Vivian Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Jones (Holloway); his daughter Christine Ward (Philip); his father Jimmy Jones; his sisters, Deborah Rhodes (Emmett) and Vickie Robertson (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Jordan Ward and Hannah Ward. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
