She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lee Wilburn and Gladys B. Martin. She is survived by: her brothers, David Lee Wilburn Jr. and Gilbert Wilburn; and her children, LaShawn Sam, Wayne Sam and Terrence Sam. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
