He was predeceased by: his great-uncle Scott Hostetler; his grandmother Sherlyn Lindsey; and his great-grandparent Luanne Lindsey. He is survived by: his parents, Jubal Lee Lindsey and Ambrosia Hostetler Lindsey; his grandparents, Boone, Sabrina Wilford of Ozark, Missouri, Lynn and Lisa Hostetler of Bentonville, Arkansas; his great-grandparents, Dewey, Bernie Hostetler of Newton, Kansas, Jerry, Bette Andrews of Plano, Texas, Harold, Helen McKinney of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Richard Lindsey of Rogers, Arkansas; and his godfather Leno Robinson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made in memory of Brooks Lindsey to Children's Mercy Hospital Music Therapy Program in Kansas City, Missouri or Pink Heals NWA.
