He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Kornegay. He is survived by: his parent Marie Kornegay (Potts); his children, Garrett Kornegay (Lisa) of Vinton, VA and Tracy McDonough of Rogers, AR; his stepchildren, Mike Madison, Lynda Palm (Dan) and Leigh Ann Dewitt (Gene); and his half-siblings, Richard Hoffmann, Yolanda Hermosillo (Yoly) and Diana Hoffman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made in his name to either the American Cancer Society, Center for Nonprofits at St. Mary.
