With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Frederick Fortner Sr. (Benton, Arkansas), born in Whelen Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on November 30, 2018 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his daughter Carrie M. Fortner; his son-in-law Ron Havniear; and his brothers, Cletis, Cline, Johnny and James Fortner.
He is survived by: his spouse Sadie Belle Dunn Fortner; his children, Paul "Buddy" Jr., Bobby Fortner, Christie Havniear Golden of Traskwood and Sandy Johnson (Robert) of Haskell; his grandchildren, Amy Richmond, Blake Martin, Lauren Broach, Kassadie Havniear and Shaun Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brady Paul, Bennett, Boston Martin, Sadie and Baby Boy Broach. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
