Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Wesley leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Barnett and Ruby Dougan Barnett; his brother Marion "Barney" Barnett; and his daughter-in-law Christy Carol Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Barnett; and his sons, Michael Barnett (Christy) and Wesley Bryan Barnett. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ashby Funeral Home (108 W Narroway St, Benton, AR 72015). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hills Baptist Church (1119 Alcoa Blvd, Benton, AR 72015).
