He was predeceased by: his father Joe Evan DuVall, Sr.; his son Jeffrey Allan DuVall; his sister Deborah DuVall Smith; and his grandparents, E. H., Ida Jacobs DuVall, R. T. "Ted" and Angie Tull Carter.
He is survived by: his mother Virgie DuVall (Carter); his wife Marian Udey DuVall; and his friend Joe.
