She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Pauline Thomerson Golding; her husband Charles Preston "Nutt" Phillips; her daughter Cheryl Brewer; her sons-in-law, Sandy Brewer and Carroll Hambric; her sister Alyce Smothers; her brother-in-law Charles; her nephew Wes Smothers; her brother William "Bill"; and her sister-in-law Ann (Samuel).
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Hambric; her grandsons, Rob Winters (Kelli) and Jarrod Hambric (Brandy); her great grandchildren, Lindsey Kate Winters, Lily Winters, Ethan Hambric and Preslee Hambric; her nieces and nephews, Julie Hawkins, Lori Newman (Joel), Amy Purdy (Rob) and Jamey Golding (Dede); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah Newman, Haylee Newman, Nick Purdy, Colby Rucker, Kacey Hopson (Quincy), Spencer Hawkins (Taylor), Sophie Smothers and Claire Smothers.
In lieu of flowers, her wishes are to have memorials made to Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church.
