He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Russell and Dorothy Alline Willis Garrett; and his brother Russell Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Garrett; his children, Tracy Garrett (Alena), Terry Carpenter (Chris) and Tonya Garrett; and his brother Lonnie Garrett. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
