He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie J. Gartrell, Sr. and Estella "Doodle" Gartrell; and his brother W. J. "Junior" Gartrell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda "Kay" Diemer-Gartrell; his children, Niki (Steven Mathews), Dana Gartrell, Brian Gartrell, Danielle Gartrell and Logan Aaron; and his grandchildren, Matthew Hunsicker, Kayla Streepey, Johnathan Streepey, Cali Mathews, Hannah Gartrell, Henry Gartrell and Brey Blahitka. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ashby Funeral Home (108 W Narroway St, Benton, AR 72015). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
