She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hale and Verla Wade Hale Sr.; her husband Dencil Carter; her children, Gary Carter, Denise Carter and Linda Carter; and her siblings, Ellis Hale, Roy Hale Jr., Leslie "Sonny" Hale and Audrey Tinder.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Carter, Steve (Donna Carter), Darrell (Lydia Carter) and Lisa (Danny Owens); her siblings, Carolyn (Tommy Hill) and Ira "Lindy" (Jean Hale); and her daughter-in-law Linda Carter Taylor. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
