She was predeceased by: her parents, William Benjamin and Lula Eleanor Broom Farve; her husband Velzie "Dick" Garner; her son Ben Garner; her son-in-law Sam Schaffer; her stepchildren, Wilburn Garner and Mildred McDaniel; her siblings, Wilburn Farve, William Farve, Jesse Farve, Francis Peacock and Ruth Keaton; and her half-brother Willaby Farve.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Schaffer and Cindy Garner; her stepson Bobby; and her sister Lois. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
