He is survived by: his wife Darla Marie Brooks (Hurd); his son Jeffrey Scott (Diane); his granddaughter Ellen Grace Brooks; and his siblings-in-law, Murvil Hurd (Connie), Leann Tjarks (David) and Sharon Jansen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
