He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Alderton and Marguerite Alderton of Kahoka, Missouri; his son Thomas Chris Alderton of Vacaville, California; and his siblings, Delora Gardner of Webster City, Iowa and Merlin Alderton of Mattoon, Illinois..
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Louise Alderton of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his son Curtis Jay Alderton of Durango, Colorado; his daughter-in-law Janine Sue Alderton of Durango, Colorado; his grandchildren, Joshua Alderton, Melody Riedell (Chris), Molly Morningstar (Erick), Josiah Alderton (Holly), Emily Moore (Chris), Riley Alderton (Kristy) and Matthew Alderton (Mary); and his great grandchildren, Jude Alderton, Asher Alderton, Bella Moore, Milo Riedell, Easton Morningstar, Finlay Alderton, Beau Alderton, Marigold Alderton, Norah Morningstar, Leon Alderton, Indie Mae Alderton, Dominic Alderton, Tucker Alderton, Jovie Alderton and Evelyn Alderton.
