“As a long-time friend and neighbor of Steve's, I was so sorry to hear of his death. We watched him struggle through so many medical treatments with unwavering courage and a cheerful attitude. He never lost hope. I fondly remember one winter when other neighbors and I were snowed in, and Steve showed up at our doors with homemade soup. And he was definitely the "best cook in the neighborhood." Bayswater Lane will not be the same without Steve. You have my deepest sympathy. Diane Schoenbaum”
