He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Horton and Rena Horton; and his sons, Michael and David Horton. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Horton; his children, DeDe Franco and Roy Dean Horton, Jr. of Bella Vista; and his siblings, Harrison Horton, Helen Shaffer and Betty Shinn. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
