He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve M. Johnson and George P. Johnson; and his siblings, Gertrude, Leonard, Maurice, John and George.
He is survived by: his wife Berniece; his children, Mary (Jim), Robert "Bobby" (Candace), Elizabeth (Kelly), Joseph "Joe" (Paula), John and Catherine; and his sister Theresa Bonjour (Kirk). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
