He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Montgomery and Mary Ruth McGonigal Montgomery; his stepmother Isabella Montgomery; and his brother John Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his children, Richard Montgomery (Janelle) of Omaha, Scott Montgomery of Counsel Bluffs, Iowa. and Erica Weber (Raymond) of Denison, Iowa.; and his stepdaughter Megan Walker (Jeff) of Counsel Bluffs. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
