He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Taraksa and Anna Mikrut Taraska; his wife Judith; his siblings, Frank, Peter, Joseph, John, Thomas, Vincent, Tilly, Katherine and Polly; and his half-siblings, Ernest and Rose.
He is survived by: his sister Josephine Noll (Harvey) of Coleman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
