He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Boyd and Verna Boyd Chambers; his former wife Ramona Boyd; his son Charlie Boyd; his siblings, Jim Boyd and Lois Huddleston; and his grandchildren, Timothy, Nathan Newcomb and Melissa Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Boyd; his children, Ramona (Mike Riley) of Mustang, Beverly (Steve Kerr) of Oklahoma City, Melinda (Jimmy McMichael) of Oklahoma City and Dennis (Gayla Boyd) of Oklahoma City; his stepdaughter Lisa; and his brother Verle "Pete" Boyd of Wichita, Kansas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 22 great great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
