He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Sexton and Catherine Sexton; his significant other Shelly Sexton; his sons, Eric, Brett and Jacob; his daughters-in-law, Vivian and Amy; and his siblings, Kathryn Esquibel, Christina Romero, Stan Sexton, Roberta Fish, John Sexton, Harold Sexton and Abel Sexton. He was also cherished by his wife, three sons, two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the American Bushido Kai Karate Association in Matt's name.
