He is survived by: his parents, James "Jim" Koch and Denise Brameier Koch; his wife Jamie; his children, Amelia and Owen; and his brothers, Matthew and Ryan. He is also survived by uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amelia and Owen's college fund.
