She is survived by: her husband Larry Bappe of Nevada, IA; her sons, Michael (Kim) of Loveland, CO, Ed (Kemlyn) of Phoenix, AZ and Drew Bappe of Cherokee, NC; her sisters, Jane Gallentine (Richard) of Conrad, IA, Sharon Tolsdorf (Ed Sugrue) of Brewster, MA and Margie Tolsdorf of Scranton, IA; and her grandchildren, Morgan, Josh, Jodie, Cay, Dot, Dietrich, Jessi, Ben, Francois, Andre, Casey, Olivia, Charlee and Bo.
In lieu of flowers, Judy's family suggests supporting organizations aimed at increasing access to education for women, in particular P.E.O. International.
